Consultancy B wished to have a strategy and build for open source Intrusion detection systems. I was able to implement these on my test network and document the build of this system in combination with configuration of a security event database which enables the real-time alerting of network personnel to intrusions and offers a web interface for monitoring the database and the underlying security levels across the network. Enterprise real-time security management systems have also been investigated. |
